Cross Arts Creative Projects: Alike in Dignity

Usually in partnership with a music hub or arts organisation, our cross-arts creative projects tend to be high-profile, large-scale participatory one-off events.

A 2010 collaboration between the Philharmonia Orchestra and the Royal Shakespeare Company, Alike in Dignity was inspired by Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet and Prokofiev’s ballet of the same name.

The culminating performance at Leicester's Curve Theatre showcases the efforts of 250 local schoolchildren who worked intensively with music and drama professionals to produce this impressive piece.
