Auditions will be held at the beginning of March.

Applicants invited to audition will need to prepare a solo piece of your own choice plus orchestra excerpts – these are listed below and will be sent out along with an audition invitation.
N.B. For all work, our extra players are booked as London-based, so we do not pay extra travel/accommodation expenses if you are travelling from outside London.

Corporate Partnerships Manager

The Corporate Partnerships Manager will play a senior role in the Philharmonia’s Development Department and will develop and implement a Corporate Partnerships Strategy to meet ambitious fundraising targets set for 2018-2022.
The post-holder will retain current corporate support and importantly develop relationships with prospective corporates in the Corporate Prospect Pipeline to support the Philharmonia’s award-winning artistic, education and innovation programmes. The Corporate Partnerships Manager will re-establish a Business Development Committee to assist with corporate introductions, networking and advice on corporate proposal and strategy. The post-holder will play a crucial role to maintain the support of the Orchestra’s two major Corporate Sponsors; Wuliangye (Principal International Partner) and Citigroup. Wuliangye signed a five-year partnership with the Philharmonia in 2015 becoming the first Chinese company to sponsor a UK arts organisation. Citigroup have been a major partner of the Philharmonia since 2014 and have sponsored concerts across four continents, and in 2018 become the Philharmonia’s Asia Tour Partner. This role would suit an ambitious and confident individual looking to develop their career as a Senior Corporate Fundraiser in a creative and dynamic arts organisation with international reach.

Development Assistant

The Philharmonia Orchestra wishes to appoint a Development Assistant to join its busy Development team. This positon is a great opportunity for a confident and hard-working individual looking to take their first step into a career in arts fundraising.  The Development Assistant will work closely with the Development Director and Head of Individual Giving on a major Gala event in May 2018, and will also provide crucial support to the Development and Events Coordinator in the delivery of the Development Department’s busy events programme.  The post-holder will play a crucial role in supporting all team members to achieve the ambitious fundraising targets that support the Orchestra’s busy artistic and education programmes.
